Several trails start from Aldeia de Pontes, with different levels of difficulty and different scenery, trails for all ages and ranging from 2km to 25km.

On one of the trails you will have the chance to see the Mountain Goat.

In Melgaço, 30km from Aldeia de Pontes, you can visit Solar do Alvarinho, a municipal information center about Alvarinho wine with a tasting room, bar and shop, or you can visit a farm producing Alvarinho wine, on a guided tour of the vineyards and cellar, where the entire production process is explained and a tasting is held at the end.

In Castro Laboreiro you will find good restaurants to discover the local gastronomy, the locally produced ham and cornbread together with the goat raised in the local mountains are the specialties of the land.

In Lobios, 15 km away, or in Porto Quintela (Bande), 22 km from Aldeia de Pontes, there are outdoor hot water spas, open all year round and free of charge. A good option for swimming on those cloudy summer days in Castro Laboreiro.

In addition to our swimming pool for exclusive use of guests, 500 meters away we have the Laboreiro River and the magnificent Contador Well, 900 meters away the Pontes Waterfall, places with crystal clear water and a lot of peace.

The village of Pontes is located in the heart of the Peneda Gerês National Park, an opportunity to visit places such as Mata da Albergaria 40km away, Vila do Gerês 50km away, Lindoso 30km away, Soajo 40km away or Peneda 17km away.
